~Bass Tournament Rules~
1. This tournament is exclusively for bass; only bass will be counted.
2. This is a single-person tournament; team entries are not allowed.
3. This is a catch-and-release tournament; please keep all caught fish alive.
4. No watercraft are allowed (this includes kayaks, boats, canoes, floaties, etc.).
5. Carts are permitted for use; participants must adhere to the golf course's cart rules.
6. All fish must be released alive after weighing.
7. Fish must be weighed at the designated location within the specified time frame.
8. Contestants displaying poor sportsmanship and/or misconduct, or violating these rules, state fishing laws, or golf course regulations may be disqualified or excluded from the tournament.
9. Contestants must make every effort to keep all fish alive using a properly aerated livewell. We strongly recommend using chemical additives in livewells. A weight deduction of 0.20 lbs will be applied for each dead fish presented for weigh-in. Contestants must have a safe method for transporting their catch to the weighing station at the pro shop.
10. Scoring will be based on the total weight of each contestant's catch. Each angler is limited to three (3) fish.
11. Once the tournament limit has been reached, any angler landing an additional fish must stop fishing until one fish is culled (selectively removed) to maintain the limit of three (3).
12. A penalty of 0.20 lbs will be applied for each "dead fish."
13. Losing a weight slip during tournament hours may result in disqualification. Weight slips will be issued upon the first fish weigh-in.
14. Public intoxication is prohibited. Alcohol can only be purchased from the pro shop.
15. Participants must wear a wristband to weigh in fish and to participate in the tournament. Wristbands will be distributed after the entry fee is paid.
16. Children under 12 can fish for free, but cannot win any prizes unless they pay the entry fee.

Andy's Tournament Announcement!
Tournament weekends fill up fast, and we want to make sure our long‑time groups don’t miss out.
If your family, team, or business hosts an annual tournament at Riverview, please contact Andy as soon as possible. We need to confirm your date and secure your spot for the upcoming season.
OUR STORY
The area where this course is located used to be the site of Georgia's first and only 4H camp for
African American youth. The only building left from that time is the Emery C.
Thomas Auditorium, which is now used for private events and tournaments. Back in
the 1950s, there used to be a cafeteria, swimming pool, eleven cottages, and an
auditorium on the site. The auditorium is listed on the Register of Historic Places.
In 1975, the Dublin-Laurens Development Authority and Chamber of Commerce planned to build
an 18-hole public golf course on the riverside land. The Dublin Chamber of
Commerce donated 67 acres, and the Dublin-Laurens County Development Authority
bought 140 acres from the Martin Theater Group of Columbus to develop the
course.Construction of the Riverview Golf Course started on May 21, 1976, under the supervision of Mr. Don
Lamb Sr. and Authority Development Chairman, Mr. Louis Livingston. Mr. Lamb
dedicated over 1700 hours of his time to overseeing the project.
After completion, the Authority transferred ownership to the City of Dublin in exchange for utility services at a West
Dublin Industrial site. The course opened to the public in the spring of 1977.ON THE GREENS
